BELIEFS, DOCTRINES, AND ORDINANCES

CHRIST CENTERED I COMMUNITY FOCUSED

BELIEFS, DOCTRINES, AND ORDINANCES

Through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God has delivered the redemptive and salvific plan for the edification and sanctification of all who believe in Jesus, as the way, the truth, and the life.

CHURCH DOCTRINE

Christ is the head of the Church, therefore we belong to Him.

The Church is a body of believers that confess Jesus as Lord.

Pastors and Deacons are Servants of God:

  • Are the ordained offices of the church.

  • Are responsible for the spiritual welfare and overall well-being of the Church.

The Holy Bible is the Written Word of God:

  • Is the source of our Preaching, Teaching, and Spiritual Development.

  • All other materials must align with and be in submission to the Holy Bible.

CHURCH ORDINANCES

There are two ordinances that must be observed and honored - Baptism and The Lord's Supper.

  • Baptism - Through our faith in Christ and following the example of Jesus’ Baptism by John the Baptist,

    • immersion in water is our practice,

    • We baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, thus fulfilling this ordinance.

  • The Lord’s Supper - (as known as Holy Communion) – Through our Faith in Jesus Christ, we observe the taking of the Lord’s Supper in honor of Jesus’ sacrifice of His shed blood and broken body for the remission of our sins as the only acceptable act for us to receive eternal life.

  • Each ordinance is to be excised and/or administered by the ordained officers of The Church: Pastor/Minister(s) and Deacon(s).
